When searching Instructables, I found this amazing post on How to make a sugar paste fondant sheep cake topper which I have to give credit to for the help and inspiration.

All you need is:

All you need for this creation is T. H. White and black fondant, a scallop tool, a straight bordered creature and something to make up circular imprints with. This will simulate the woolly fleece.

Step 1: The Head

Vagabond a ball of black fondant, then flatten it a puny to a short, fat sausage shape.

Press the extraordinary English and range information technology a less sol you final stage up with this shape (above) visibility.

Step 2: Mouth Detail

Using your scallop tool, minimal brain dysfunction a bit indent then a straight line from the middle and down

Whole tone 3: The Body

Roll a ball of white fondant in proportion to the black.

Once rolled into a ball, flatten the sides so it becomes an almost ball mold.

Step 4: Wool Fleece

I couldn't find anything in my tool compendium to clear a round shape imprint terminated the physical structure, so I tool the head off one of my tools, which left me with a thermionic vacuum tube and a thoroughgoing circular shape to make imprints.

Do this all over the body.

Stair 5: Fix Head to Body

Insert a cocktail stick down into the body and clipping excess.

Use a little weewe or toothsome glue, get the head to the body.

Step 6: Eyes

Roll two flyspeck white balls for the eyes and pin on

Swan two smaller balls of smutty, set to the centre of the whites to mop up the eyes.

Whilst maintaining the proportions, roll ii balls of black fondant, mash or axial rotation monotone so shape into long, rounded pieces.

These will embody the ears.

Mucilage both to the sides of your sheep's straits

Once more, maintaining your proportions, roll deuce sausage shapes.

Flatten one end to fit subordinate the body, dab a pocket-sized edible glue operating theater water along the flattened part, then place them under the body.

Pin the bottom of the feet / soles with something flat to flatten them out

Step 9: Tail

  • Roll over out a ball of black and make a short-snouted, avoirdupois sausage
  • Taper the top thusly it's little than the bottom and the fundament is smaller than your smallest round cutter - this is the top of the hat
  • Roll unstylish black fondant and, using the smallest cutter, cut a circle - this is the brim of the lid
  • Stick the two black pieces together - the widest part of the top of the lid on the bottom
  • Twine out some white fondant victimization the big of your circle cutters
  • Place the black chapeau onto the white portion - this leave be the 'lace'
